Requirements

Competition is a great way to excel in dance. Competition students have the opportunity to participate in the Havertown Parade, opportunities to see professional dance shows and opportunities for dance workshops, conventions , special events and classes.

Competition dancers are selected by audition and acceptance is based on skill level, motivation and dedication. All competition dancers are required to take weekly technique/ choreography classes in the style of the competition. Competition dancers compete in 2 for Mini Team and 4 for Competitive Lite or Intensive Team competitions as well as Nationals in the summer.
